Each year the diocesan Prayer and Spirituality group organises a day of reflection for all those in licensed lay ministry—Lay Readers, Worship Leaders, Pastoral Assistants and Eucharistic Assistants.
This year, we are going online!
Saturday 10th October 2020: 10.00am–12.30pm
Programme:
10.00–10.15: Worship and welcome
10.15–10.50: Reflections on ministry (and lack of) during a pandemic
10.50–11.00: An introduction to the voice of Scripture
11.00–11.30: Pause for reflection, or tea, or coffee, or eating biscuits…
11.30–12.15: Reflective Bible study
12.15–12.30: Conclusion and final worship
All licenced in lay ministries are welcome. A Zoom invitation will be sent out nearer the time.
We know there are some who do not use the internet, or whose connection may not be that strong. When we send the access details, we will also send details of how to phone in to the meeting. Please pass on details to those you may know who might be interested!
